Well, everyone is welcome! A new version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is in the works, by the way.
Officially, there are no new releases planned, at least not unless Bethesda has something planned for new platforms. This isn’t really surprising, as despite the technological advancements in gaming, Skyrim is the developer’s most played game of all time, surpassing even Starfield in terms of competitive players.
But Bethesda is focused on the next game in the series, The Elder Scrolls VI, and apparently has no plans to touch anything that already works.
That doesn’t stop fans though. Modders have torn Skyrim apart and reassembled it with various changes and improvements, creating what they’re calling the “next-generation” version of the game, and you can download it right now for free.
It brings many improvements to the game, not only for its visual and sound quality, but also for its gameplay benefits.
The mod pack will bundle all the latest and greatest graphics mods, giving Skyrim a photorealistic look that’s worth exploring again just to see what’s changed. Combat has also been revamped to be more exciting than just hacking gameplay, as well as tweaks to character customization so you can make your Dragonborn your own.
To apply the mod pack to your version of the game, you need to go to this site and follow the installation instructions, then you can enjoy the enchanting experience of this enhanced RPG.
While it doesn’t live up to some of the latest RPGs like Baldur’s Gate 3, it’s definitely worth exploring if you’re a fan of the game. Also, The Elder Scrolls VI isn’t expected to be released for a few years, so what else can we do in the meantime?
