Emma Stone hugs husband Dave McCarey at The Curse season finale premiere in LA.
Emma Stone joined her husband Dave McCarey at the season premiere of her show The Curse at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills on Monday following her win at the Golden Globes.
The actress, 35, looked chic in an elegant spaghetti strap black dress that partially showed at the bottom. She paired it with black tights and matching heels.
The Poor Things star wore her dark auburn tresses parted down the middle and brushed back into an elegant bun. For glam she opted for red lipstick and a delicate blush on her cheeks.
Meanwhile her three-time Emmy nominee husband, whom she married in 2020, wore a casual denim jacket over a white button-up shirt, brown pants and black loafers.
The Curse was a labor of love for the Golden Globe winner, who co-produced the series with her husband through their Fruit Tree Productions.
Their appearance comes after Emma first thanked Dave when he won a Golden Globe award on Sunday for his work in Poor Things.
Emma received a standing ovation as she won for Female Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy over Alma Piesti – Fallen Leaves, Fantasia Barrino – The Color Purple, Jennifer Lawrence – No Hard Feelings, Margot Robbie – Barbie and Natalie. Portman – May December.
She graced the stage in a long sleeveless floral embroidered gown and thanked her husband Dave first at the star-studded awards ceremony.
‘Thank you. that boy Thank you so much. This is amazing. thank you Dave, I want to start with you very quickly. I love you very much. Thank you for everything,’ said Emma, pointing at her husband.
‘Willem, Marc, Remy, you made every day an absolute joy and so did the rest of our amazing cast,’ she continued, referencing her co-stars Willem Dafoe, Mark Ruffalo and Remy Youssef.
Emma in Poor Things portrays Bella Baxter, a young Victorian woman who is brutally resurrected by a scientist after her suicide.
Emma and Dave got engaged in December 2019 and married in 2020. They have a two-year-old daughter, Louise Jean McCarey, with them.
Emma also posed with The Curse co-stars Nathan Fielder, 40, and Benny Safdie, 37, at Monday’s premiere.
Fielder – who plays Asher Siegel on the show – wore an all-gray suit and sneakers.
Meanwhile Safdie – who acts as Doggy Schecter – wore a black cardigan over a striped shirt, khaki pants and brown sneakers.
Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, 50, opted for a casual look in a black jacket and gray jeans.
Simon Rex, 49, looked dapper in a long-sleeve black top, dark jeans and brown boots.
Mary Elizabeth Ellis, 44, and her husband Charlie Day, 47, were also present.
Mary wowed in a plunging denim jumpsuit with side cut-outs.
Meanwhile, Charlie wore a graphic tee under a navy jacket and blue jeans.
Fielder plays Asher, the husband of his character Whitney Segal on Showtime’s The Curse.
The talented duo co-starred in The Curse, their problematic new home-improvement show on HGTV, co-created by Nathan and Safdie, as newlyweds from New Mexico expressed their desire to conceive a child.
Everything goes south for Asher and Whitney once a young woman named Nala (Hikmah Warsame) steals back the $100 bill she gave them in the parking lot.
Curse on Rotten Tomatoes currently holds a ‘Certified Fresh’ 91% critical approval rating (out of 47 reviews).
