On Thursday, February 1, a small plane crashed in the town of Clearwater, killing three people. In the latest report, police have released the names of the victims, but have not determined the cause of the accident.

According to Florida Today, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said it will address three areas in the investigation. Starting with the pilot identified as 54-year-old Jamin Patel, the aircraft and the operating environment.
“The investigation will analyze flight path data, recordings of communications with air traffic control and weather conditions,” the NTSB said recently.
On Friday, February 2, FOX 13 managed to access audio from the control tower where the pilot was heard talking before the tragic scene. Initially, Patel reported that one of the engines of the Beechcraft Bonanza V35 model plane was failing.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said that the man made the notification around 7:00 p.m. However, he dropped off the radar a few minutes later.
“I can’t see the airport”
The plane, which took off from Vero Beach Regional Airport, was registered to Control Data Inc. in Indianapolis. In the audio, the pilot was heard saying that he couldn’t see St. Pete-Clearwater Airfield, which was probably where he was going.
Likewise, the audio also featured the moment in which he reported that he was losing an engine.
