Calum Turner talks about working with Austin Butler

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor was asked if he knew any of the influential cast members before he started filming the show.

“After my audition, they called and said, ‘We’ve got this guy named Austin Butler who just played Elvis, and we want you, too.’ I sent him a message, but Austin got really sick after Elvis,” Turner said.

He added, “Later I got a voice note, like, ‘Sorry I didn’t answer, I’m in the hospital.’ I just wrote: “Elvis has left the building.” It was as if Elvis needed a medical procedure to get him out of his body. But we bonded immediately. “We play best friends on the show, and it’s so easy to be best friends with Austin.”

What is Masters of the Air?

Masters of the Air is set to launch its first two episodes on Apple TV+ on January 26, 2024. A new episode will follow on Friday, March 15, 2024.
