Baldur’s Gate 3 players pick the game’s ‘most impressive’ feat
Baldur’s Gate 3 players have expressed their love for the “most impressive” feat in the entire game, giving their side immense advantages in combat.
Baldur’s Gate 3 received much acclaim both critically and socially, eventually winning Game of the Year at the 2023 Game Awards.
With an abundance of options, players can make their own choices with complete freedom. Whether players choose to be good, evil, a noble paladin or a cunning rogue is entirely up to them.
The same goes for the game’s combat, which allows players to choose how they approach each encounter. Sometimes this means avoiding combat altogether, however, when things get tense, Baldur’s Gate 3 players have fallen in love with the alert exploit.

BG3 players fell in love with the alert exploit
When starting a fight in Baldur’s Gate 3, all entities involved must roll an initiative roll. Initiative changes the order of combat, meaning that it is necessary to have high initiative to be able to strike first.
This is where the Alert feat comes into play, as it gives a +5 bonus to initiative and prevents you from being surprised. This is incredibly handy when facing opponents, as you will always have the first word.

” It’s amazing and it’s my favorite feat. I always prefer it in regular DnD, if my character is a neurotic, anxious or fearful person. ”, agreed another.
Others have pointed out that Baldur’s Gate uses D4 for initiative rolls, so the +5 bonus is more welcome.
” In BG3 it’s even harsher because initiative is done with a d4 instead of a d20. “
However, with so many achievements to choose from when playing Baldur’s Gate 3, this can be confusing for some. Fortunately, Warning is a great option for anyone who is still undecided.
