A Cuban woman jumped from the eighth floor of a hospital in Havana this week.

Initial reports shared through social networks indicate that the incidents took place at a healthcare center known as La Benefica.

Exiled Cuban doctor Alexander Jesús Figueredo Izaguirre was one of those who shared the grievance and blamed the regime.

“A woman at Beneficial Hospital committed suicide this afternoon,” he said. “Ernesto Cordovi, if you could give me the details of what happened before I got it from the haters, I would thank you,” he pleaded with the dictatorship’s spokesman.

“Another murder by the Cuban dictatorship,” condemned a doctor based in the United States after suffering persecution on the island.

Users on social networks say that the girl used to live in Luyano.

One internet user said, “She fell on top of the roof… in the part opposite Villanueva, I live opposite, what a shame.”

A relative of the girl said that she was suffering from a medical problem and was a nurse.

“The girl who committed the terrible act had schizophrenia and was nervously ill. She was my cousin, a terrific nurse, woman, friend and mother,” explained Yessi Perez.

“She suffered from paranoid schizophrenia…and was admitted because she was in crisis as a result of her illness…She was a nurse and worked at a hospital. Apparently he knew how to get to the eighth floor… It’s really a shame. My condolences to the family…this is a terrible disease,” lamented Adrian Perez Serrano.
