When we talk about Rockstar Games, we often think of the Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption franchises – or maybe even the cult classic Bully. But has anyone thought of Midnight Club?
Midnight Club was Rockstar’s version of arcade racing games, and while the franchise has since faded into obscurity, it was a mainstay for many of us gamers in the 2000s. It’s hard to pin down the franchise’s best creation. Midnight Club: Los Angeles offered a lot of content, including dynamic weather effects and a 24-hour day-night cycle, while Midnight Club 3: Dubbed Edition deserves praise for its universal fun and car customization. Personally, I have a soft spot for Midnight Club 2 and its amazing soundtrack. If you share this sentiment, you might want to check out this awesome fan-made remaster.

This project is great because you don’t just have to admire it. You can download the beta version and try it for yourself. Time to dive into nostalgia, but with a modern twist. Take a look at the beta in action below.
While this remaster is already amazing, it’s still under development, so expect a few minor issues – pardon the pun. That said, it’s really fun to dive back into this old favorite.
