A German dies mid-flight, spitting “liters of blood” through his mouth and nose

A 63-year-old man died on a flight between Bangkok and Munich on Thursday, February 8. A chaotic scene was described by several witnesses.

Flight of “Horror”. This Thursday, February 8, a 63-year-old man died in mysterious circumstances mid-flight between Bangkok, Thailand and Munich, Germany, Swiss newspaper Blick reported this Friday.

According to two passengers in the back row, the German man, along with a Filipino woman, were “in a cold sweat” before takeoff. Martin Misfelder then called the captain to find a doctor.

After talking to the already “depressed” man, the captain “called a doctor over the loudspeaker”. It was then that a “young Polish man in his thirties” who spoke poor English approached the patient and quickly concluded that he was fit to travel.

“Liters of blood” on the walls.

Subsequently, the man’s health deteriorated significantly. “They then gave him some chamomile tea, but he was already spitting blood into the bag his wife had given him,” the witness continued.

Suddenly blood gushes from his mouth and nose. “It was absolute horror, everyone was screaming,” recalled Martin Misfelder. According to him, the man lost a liter of blood after splashing on the walls of the plane.

After several attempts at resuscitation, the sixty-year-old died. “It was absolutely silent on board.” After the news of the death came over the loudspeaker, the plane turned to Thailand.

Contacted by Blick, Lufthansa confirmed the death without commenting on the circumstances.
