While many fans dream of exploring a Pokémon game with the inspiration of Minecraft, a talented Minecraft player has created an incredible Pokémon X Minecraft world, and fans are loving it.
The Pokemon games have continued to grow over the years, with recent games like Pokemon Legends: Arceus and Pokemon Scarlet and Purple bringing the open world format to the iconic series, with great results.
Well, one of the world’s most popular open world games for over a decade, the hit survival and creativity game Minecraft, is also in the works for a Hollywood movie, with Jack Black himself joining the cast.

Many fans have been dreaming of a meeting between these two titans, as Super Mario World was added to Minecraft several years ago as part of the Wii U release, but for now, players will have to make do with Bloc’s fan interpretation. Based on the Pokemon world.
Luckily, one fan did just that and created an impressive Pokemon-inspired world that other players are calling “magical” and “beautiful” among many other compliments.

As creator VarunaMC shared in a Reddit post, the talented Minecraft player has created a massive map inspired by classic Pokemon worlds, with beautiful biomes, huge arenas, and lots of little details that evoke Pokemon nostalgia.

Other players are jumping into the comments to send compliments, with one person commenting “Easily the best Pokemon map I’ve seen in Minecraft. I really hope it’s yours and not a repost, because it’s awesome.”
Next, another player intervenes, adding “Absolutely amazing! Great work, the cities are really gorgeous and immersive.”
Then, a comment says: “It’s magic. Especially the floating island city. Great job!”
It’s clear that other Minecraft and Pokémon fans love this rendition, and with great design choices along with map detail, it’s not hard to see why.

Hopefully, Pokemon and Minecraft will eventually work together on something authentic, and deliver a Pokemon x Minecraft mod that countless mods constantly try to emulate. While many of these mods are amazing, it will be something special to see what Pokemon and Minecraft can do.
