Are you going to fall for the new Freebox Ultra?
Free on January 30 unveiled its new Freebox Ultra, an internet box packed with new technologies, included in a brand new offering. Are you convinced by Freebox’s proposition?
Well, after weeks of teasing and a few leaks it’s finally been announced: Freebox integrates Ultra Free’s internet offerings and embeds the very latest standards and technologies.
This new box is compatible with 10G fiber and for the first time has a synchronous speed of 8 Gbit/s for download and upload. And to take advantage of all this theoretical speed, the Freebox Ultra is compatible with the very latest Wi-Fi 7 standard and its 6 GHz band, for a theoretical speed of 6 Gbit/s. Repeaters supporting this standard will also be included.
Free’s new offers include numerous SVOD platforms (Disney+ with ads, Netflix with ads, Universal+, Canal+ Live and Amazon Prime Video) for 50 euros per month (60 euros after one year). The operator, however, offers 10 euros cheaper, but without including these various streaming services.
Are you going to upgrade to Freebox Ultra?
While fiber tends to be more popular, including in rural areas, internet offers are becoming plentiful in large parts of France. This new freebox offer therefore stays with the times.
So we want to know if this Freebox Ultra tempts you, each time explaining your reasons:
