President Biden claimed that during an event in North Carolina he met Rep. He was “confused” Thursday after he claimed to have been photographed backstage with Deborah Ross (D-NC).

“Where’s Deborah?” Biden, 81, asked during a speech in Raleigh as he sought out the two-term congressman at an event focused on the bipartisan 2021 infrastructure bill.
“I just took a picture with her, maybe that’s why she left,” Biden initially joked.
Moments later, the president added: “Oh, he can’t really be here. “That’s not true, I was confused… He’s in Washington right now.”
Later in his remarks, the president referred to the United States as a “major company” when he meant the country.
The confusion involving Ross mirrors a similar mistake Biden made in 2022 when he asked “Where’s Jackie?” And in a program the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) was found, called his family and ordered the flag to be lowered a month earlier to mourn his death.
