War in Ukraine: Black Box Speaks… Il-76 Plane That Crashed Near Belgorod Was Really Downed “By External Source”, Russia Convinces

Russia has released part of the data from an analysis of the black box of the Il-76 that crashed near Belgorod a week ago.

“Data from the flight recorders of the Il-76 aircraft shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Belgorod region confirm an external impact on it.” As usual, the official press agency of the Russian regime, Tass, is not careful to actually announce the analysis of the II-76 black box.

“The black box data excludes all possible versions of the Il-76 crash and confirms that the plane was subjected to an external influence, that is, it was knocked down in the air. Everything is clear,” a source told the agency.

According to the same source, the black box analysis is however not complete.

As a reminder, the official Russian version indicates that, on Wednesday January 24, the date of the accident, two Ukrainian missiles hit a military plane that was transporting, again according to Russia, prisoners of war with Ukraine to be exchanged on the same day. .

A version that was never confirmed by Ukraine, which requested the establishment of an independent international investigation.

Kyrillo Budanov, the head of the Ukrainian intelligence services, declared that “none of the parties will be able to fully answer what happened to the Il-76.” “Russia accuses Ukraine of everything. Despite this, a number of facts in favor of such a position are not clear.”

“No body transfer in preparation”

And this Wednesday, representative of the Main Directorate of Ukrainian Intelligence, Andriy Yusov was still wondering where “our prisoners” were? “For the moment we can only analyze their words. There is no preparation for the transfer of bodies on that side,” he concluded.

The presence of prisoners on the plane remains highly uncertain. Following the crash, Russia released a list of prisoners who were supposed to be on the plane. However, some prisoners have already been the subject of an exchange with Ukraine a few weeks ago.

Ukraine accuses Russia of transporting weapons on planes and potentially using prisoners as human shields.
