Now it’s Google Pixel 9’s turn! The Mountain View giant’s future smartphone is already showing itself in images like its big brother Pixel 9 Pro, whose design was also revealed recently.
Behind the leak, again and again leaker OnLeaks, this time in partnership 91 Mobile. Remember that OnLeaks builds its visuals based on its sources in the industry and always shows great credibility. In other words, while you should always take it with a grain of salt, you can look at these images with a healthy amount of confidence.
Photo telephoto lens on the program
On the program, the Google Pixel 9 will adopt the same two key developments that are expected on the Pixel 9 Pro. Such as: edges that become flat and a photo block that does not cross the back in its entire width.
However, it will have one more trick up its sleeve as it looks well on its way to equipping itself with a telephoto lens. We can actually see three cameras on the back, with one on the far right with a rectangular shape (characteristic of periscope integration).
So we can expect a nice optical magnification factor, but perhaps not as significant as the Pro version to distinguish the two models.
Moreover, these renderings of Google Pixel 9 show the smartphone with a very compact format. We are talking about a 6.1-inch flat screen with dimensions of 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm. If we consider the photo block, the thickness increases to 12 mm.
Finally, remember that the Google Pixel 9 isn’t expected before the second half of 2024. So these renderings appear especially early.
