HBO arguably has many ways The Last of Us Spin-offs can branch out into the region, such is the scope of its potential. However, it’s Bill and Frank’s life that many fans want to see unfold.

In the season one episode ‘A Long, Long Time’, viewers met Bill and Frank, the pair receiving praise for presenting a “triumphant departure from the game”. It was a tour de force. So much so that, ever since it aired, fans have been clamoring to see the pair back so we can witness less heartbreak and more wholesome tenderness that the pair brought to a dark world. TLOU.
talking with The last line, the actor behind Bill, Nick Offerman, revealed that a prequel to Bill and Frank “has been pitched.” He then continued by saying, “I think we did a whole prequel mini-series of their lives before they met each other. It can be musical. We are not short on ideas. “We’ll see what Craig (Mazin) and Neil (Druckman) come up with.”
The moment we read the word “musical”, we immediately thought Alan Wake II And got very excited – anyone who has played K The department will know that musicals can convey so many emotions in such an entertaining format. Whether that will work for HBO’s vision of TLOU, we can’t say, but we’re still here for the all-singing, all-dancing cast.
Unfortunately, as highlighted by the issues surrounding Abby’s casting, some fans are unable to loosen their grip on what the franchise should include and/or tell us. As such, it makes it very difficult to make creative decisions.
Still, we live in hope that we’ll see Bill and Frank’s story teased out so innocently in the prequel Offerman.
