The Last of Us 2 just received two very different announcements, but which should please fans waiting for the remaster. Get ready to learn more about this second opus.
The Last of Us 2 undoubtedly created a lot of hype when it was released. However, whatever we think of it, it is clearly a game that has left its mark on the video game field. Given such success and Naughty Dog’s past, we weren’t surprised to see a remaster announced for PS5. The latter was also entitled to a new advertisement which will surely please the fans. New trophies and documentary for The Last of Us 2
One of the big new features of the remaster is a roguelite mode called “No Return”. Here, the player must survive as long as possible in each game, while choosing different paths that will lead to random encounters. We can play a total of 10 characters, for example Deanna, Abby, Jessie or even Manny and Yara. For the moment, the studio has been careful not to give us a lengthy presentation of the gameplay. Instead, today we have a list of new trophies that will come with this new version of The Last of Us 2.
There are 13, and they only concern No Return mode. You can find the list below, and some additional clarification has been provided by Naughty Dog. Your trophies earned on the PS4 version of The Last of Us 2 will be transferred to your PS5 with the remaster. In short, it allows you to keep your platinum (if you have it of course). This is good news for some players, and a way to bring the community back into the game. That being said, what else do we have on the menu?

- Get Your Back – Win a round of “blocking” without your partner’s life dropping below 70%
- Burglar – Open the safe on “Capture” without killing any enemies
- Roll Call – Win the game with every character
- Modded – Complete an encounter with every available mode
- Risk Taker – Complete 5 bets in a game
- Good riddance – Kill 5 bosses
- Team Ellie – Complete all of Ellie’s group challenges
- Team AB – Complete all of AB’s group challenges
- True Strength – Gain S for each encounter
- Your survival will be long – win the daily game of no return
- May Your Death Be Quift – Win a daily game of No Return on Grounded difficulty
