The story follows Miranda’s former assistant Andrea and Emily ten years after she left Runway magazine. Together, they now head the wedding magazine, The Plunge, while Andrea prepares to marry Max, a man from a large New York family.

An impossible sequel?
The actresses have often been questioned about the possibility of a sequel almost 20 years after the first film. But for Anne Hathaway, this seems like a compromise. Guest on the show view In 2022, she explains:
