To improve your village and your totem in Lego Fortnite, certain materials are essential. Obsidian is one of them, and you’ll definitely need to collect some of them at one point or another, to level up. The good news is that this stone is not the hardest to find in the game. You will find it in this Desert biome (dry land), and more specifically in caves.
Where to find obsidian?
Obsidian is an ore you will find in this Desert caves. In its raw state, this rock looks like what you can see in the image above. It is black, with purple reflections. Note that it can be found on some walls, but especially on the ceiling ! So if you explore this type of cavity look out!
How to mine obsidian?
Obsidian is a hard ore, and collecting it requires some preparation. Here are the mandatory prerequisites to collect obsidian with complete peace of mind.
- Don’t forget to prepare yourself for the intense heat of the desert. At this point, many solutions are available. You can leave with your pockets full Wear Snowberry or Snowberry Milkshake, or Cold Blood Amulet. You are spoiled for choice!
- Access to obsidian deposits will often require the construction of stairs. Remember to keep some wood in stock to build the inside of the cave.
- Finally, Torch It is necessary to explore the caves, which are naturally very dark.
