How to install it on your PS5 and how to transfer saved games
Everything you need to prepare before The Last of Us Part 2 update is officially released
There is very little left until the remastering of The Last of Us Part 2 is released exclusively for PS5. This new version offers better graphics and performance, levels not seen in the 2020 version, comments from developers and two game modes: No Return, a roguelite in which we fight random enemies, and Guitar Free Play.
On January 19, 2024, this version will be released with two separate editions for those who want to buy the full game and an update worth 10 euros for those who already own the original PS4 version. The good news for those who have played or are playing the title is that “you will be able to import your saves from the original PS4 game for Part 2 Remastered on PS5”. Shows a naughty dog.
Now, how to install the new version after we bought the ten euro update? If you have the digital version of PS4, install it for the update to download. If you have the physical version, the disc needs to be inserted into our PS5 to download the update properly.
If you bought the physical version and don’t have the disc, there isn’t one No return It’s worth it. The reason is very simple: the disc is confirmation that you actually own the video game. For example, the same thing happens in other installments like Cyberpunk 2077. For saved games, they should automatically transfer to the PS5. If you move from PS4 to PS5 with this update, we recommend following the steps on the official PlayStation blog.
