Here are the new prices of your cigarette pack on 1st March
After a significant increase in January 2024, tobacco prices should rise further from March 2024, according to monthly prices published on the Customs website. Both cigarettes and packs of cigars and cigarillos will be affected.
A pack of cigarettes for 13 euros by 2026
In December 2023, the state announced a tobacco price hike for January 1, 2024. Thus, after increases on January 1 and February 1, smokers may see another increase from March 1. No more cigars and cigarillos
So the price hike in March 2024 will affect several brands sold in units of 20 namely JPS Cool, Lucky Strike Blue and JPS Firm Filter Rouge 100s. The price of these packets will increase from 11.50 euros to 12 euros. The increase will also affect packs of 30 units like Lucky Strike Blue XXL and Winfield Red XXL, which will go from 17.25 euros to 18 euros. So we note that cigarette price increases range between 30 and 75 cents.
The increase will be less significant on packs of cigarillos, such as Aja 100% No Added Flavors and Aja Blonde in 30 grams, which will increase from 17.30 euros to 17.40 euros. As for the increase on the cigar, it will be more marked. The price of the packages will be reduced
If some packs of cigarettes will see an increase in price, others will, on the contrary, see their price decrease. This concerns certain packs of the Winston brand, Origin Red 100, Origin Red and Origin Blue, whose price will drop by 50 cents to 11.50 euros.
