Eric Trappier will replace Charles Edelstein
The handover is scheduled for January 9, 2025. Eric Trappier will also retain his position as CEO of Dassault Aviation.
A change in governance at the head of Marcel Dassault Industrial Group* (GIMD). Eric Trappier, 63, will succeed Charles Edelstein as president of the family holding company, announced its supervisory board chaired by Thierry Dassault in the presence of Marie-Hélène Hébert-Dassault, Helena Mailhan-Dassault and Laurent Dassault. Eric Trappier will retain his position as CEO of Dassault Aviation, maker of the Rafale combat aircraft and Falcon business jet. According to GIMD legislation, the handover is scheduled for January 9, 2025, the birthday of Charles Edelstein, who will then celebrate his 87th birthday.
