Demi Moore in Balmain, Molly Ringwald in Rodarte and more stars in ‘Feud: Capote Vs. Hans

The second season of FX’s “Feud” charts the fascinating lives of Truman Capote’s muses, including Lee Radziwill, Babe Pelly and CZ Guest. Subtitled “Capote Vs. The Swan,” stars Naomi Watts, Molly Ringwald, Demi Moore and Chloe Sevigny as the author’s high-society friends, whose secrets he will eventually uncover in the 1975 Esquire article “La Cote Basque, 1965.” The latest installment of Ryan Murphy’s hit anthology series premieres in January 31.

Moore, Ringwald and more stars turned Tuesday’s premiere into a black-and-white ball, evoking the dress code of Capote’s legendary 1966 shindig. Many attendees opted for feathers and frills, adding an avian touch to their custom couture.

Demi Moore

Moore dazzled in a beaded strapless gown by Balmain. Her custom frock featured a swan design on the bodice, which was also embellished with three-dimensional feathers. The actress accessorized with Cartier jewellery.

Emma Roberts

Emma Roberts donned a Giambattista Valli dress and feathered cape from the label’s Fall 2022 couture line. “American Horror Story” star Judith Leiber added a crystalized drawstring purse, jewelry by Joseph Saidian & Sons and Jimmy Choo pumps.

Molly Ringwald

Ringwald came in a custom Rodarte gown and stole lined with white tulle. Its velvety texture and sheer ruffles evoke the silky feathers of a goose.

Naomi Watts

Watts donned a lace Givenchy gown from the French label’s spring 2019 collection. Her feminine frock featured rib cutouts and a small bow-embellished belt at the waist. The actress accessorized with a bedazzled swan-shaped clutch by Judith Leiber.

Sevigny’s black-and-white ensemble featured a strapless drop-waist gown by Christopher John Rogers and wrist-baring glovelets.

Callista Flockhart

Calista Flockhart’s plunging Zuhair Murad gown, from the label’s fall 2023 collection, features a velvet wrap bodice and harlequin patterned skirt.

Diane Lane

Diane Lane’s custom Cristina Ottavia gown, made from velvet and satin, features an off-the-shoulder neckline and floor-length train.
