CES 2024 – New Wi-Fi 7 wireless connection is finally official – LaptopSpirit

The Wi-Fi Alliance is negotiating a new Wi-Fi 7 wireless connectivity standard that will finally be made official at CES 2024.

As part of CES 2024 Wi-Fi Alliance Formalizes the new certificate Wireless connectivity standard Wi-Fi 7 be.

Laptop PCs can now be properly Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) certified.
Some models announced at the Las Vegas show are also equipped with it, as are laptops already sold in France with Wi-Fi 7.

Wi-Fi allows speeds up to 7B 45 Gbps And the Wi-Fi 6E ax manages to offer 9.6 Gb/s. It uses 320MHz channels as well as 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. And MLO – Multi-Link Operation – in other words allows simultaneous transmission and reception of data over multiple links, with increased throughput, reduced latency and greater reliability.

To use, Wi-Fi 7 requires devices equipped with it, such as laptops and Internet boxes/Wi-Fi access points.
