Angry Starfield fans! Discover the problem tarnishing Bethesda’s reputation
Starfield generated much excitement and anticipation before its release. However, after its launch, enthusiasm waned and the community is still struggling to enjoy the game while waiting for updates and expansions. However, some of the community is upset about the long-awaited item included in Starfield’s Constellation Edition. This premium pre-order bundle offers plenty of bonuses for fans, but one item stands out: an awesome watch that looks just like the one in the game. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for a few months, and many community members had a similar experience.
The Constellation Edition of Starfield was an expensive purchase that disappointed the community. The clock looks like the one in the game but it doesn’t work properly. Earlier, the makers of the game did a great job in marketing and created a lot of expectations among the fans.
According to Bethesda’s official website, here are all the in-game and real-life items that fans received when purchasing the game’s Constellation Edition for $299.99. By pre-ordering, players get in-game bonuses, and by purchasing the physical version, they get other items, including a Starfield Chronomark watch, which should be different.
Unfortunately, users like Moderninferno have expressed concern about the clock not working as expected, and Bethesda hasn’t really done much to fix the problem.
From broken watches to broken promises, what else do fans have? Unfortunately, Bethesda has yet to address these concerns. Some users were informed that the watch will be replaced, but that stock is not ready yet. Others regret their purchase and are frustrated by the lack of support and communication from Bethesda.
This ongoing situation exacerbates Starfield’s current problems. Despite the game’s quality, sometimes its merchandise and pre-order bonuses remind players of the excitement and interest they had for a while. But in Starfield’s case, everything works against the game instead of supporting it.
While there’s no promise of a quick fix for this type of issue at the moment, other posts on the subreddit try to keep interest alive with mods, DLC excitement, and more.
