AMFPro talks about Alexis Vega’s situation at Chivas | TUDN Liga MX
This Mexican Football Players Association (AMFpro) talked about the case of Alexis Vega in Chivas through a press release.
Through its official X account (formerly Twitter), the association clarified that players’ rights under the rules FIFA And Mexican Football Federation (FMF).
“On the basis of Article 14, paragraph 2 of the FIFA Rules on the Status and Transfer of Players and in accordance with the criteria of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS/CAS), a professional player with a current contract cannot. Individual removal from the team and/or train as a measure of pressure from the club to force them to accept the terms.
“Strictly with the provisions of Article 48 of the Transfer and Contract Regulations of the Mexican Football Federation (FMF), it is established that “any offensive conduct, whether on the part of the club or the player, aimed at coercion. To terminate the other agreement or change its terms, shall constitute a reasonable cause for termination for the counterparty.
AMFPro points out that should any of these events occur, both the club and the player have the right to terminate the contract fairly for non-compliance.
