A welcome concept as we come out of the year 2023 where average inflation was around 4.9%. In Saint-Maur-des-Fosses (Val-de-Marne), from January 3, 2024, it is possible To purchase lost packages by weight En route between sender and receiver or not claimed by operators. For consumers who have no idea of the content, which remains in its packaging and is carefully anonymous, the surprise can be great.
A controlled good
Called Destoque Collis, the store is the first of its kind in Île-de-France, but has proven itself elsewhere in the region, as reported by our editorial staff in Toulouse, Nice, and most recently in Lille… slogan, which we call one of Hérault’s Owed to the couple, it is thanks to the anti-waste law of January 1, 2022, which prohibits the destruction of unsold non-food items.
Goods are collected from logisticians in France, and checked by fraud suppression. They are sold by weight (90 euros for 5 kg, from 10 kg, the price drops to 16 euros), but they can also be sold individually (between 5 euros and 30 euros). Please note that it is not intended to be issued to unaccompanied minors.
Experimental: Destock Parcels, 7, Boulevard de Cretil, Saint-Maur-des-Fosses. Opening: Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am to 7 pm.
Destock Collis has already announced a provisional sale of undelivered parcels in Coubron (Seine-Saint-Denis) from February 1 to 2, 2024. Others should be organized elsewhere in Ile-de-France.
