A direct payment stimulus check of $600 dollars was announced in the United States

In the United States, many workers have been affected by the now common mass layoffs in various labor sectors.

That is why the Employment Development Department (EDD) will send a new relief of $600.00 USD to these affected workers.

Therefore, the Department of Employment Development awarded $7 million in funding to the nonprofit organization.

This is a California farmer cooperative and aims to support agricultural workers affected by layoffs in the state.

In this sense, Marco Lizarga, executive director of the farmer cooperative, offers some statements to the North American press in this regard.

The official said the funding will be split into professional development and assistance of $600.00 USD. Additionally, “the service usually guides the worker to find another job, but mainly we provide training,” commented the executive director.

Likewise, Marco Lizarga also pointed out that former agricultural workers will be able to receive their $600.00 USD check immediately.
