Madrid
Since the beginning of spring, the Spanish capital experiences a heat wave, with maximum temperatures of 20 degrees. Madrid’s vast parks bloom and Madrilenians begin to take to the streets until dawn.
With Madrid’s spring weather much milder than the scorching summer, visitors can explore its world-class galleries, Belle Epoque mansions and designer boutiques without breaking a sweat.
Canary Islands
Spain’s tiny golden islands off the coast of North Africa are heavenly in early spring. Apart from long, sunny days with temperatures of 21°, there are no signs of high season crowds.
Visitors have a wide choice: the stunning beaches of Lanzarote and its spectacular surfing scenes, the moonscapes of Tenerife, the whitewashed Renaissance palaces of Santa Cruz de la Palma, the plunging gorges of La Gomera and the dormant volcanic craters of Fuencaliente…
Málaga
