Rennais treats himself to a full page of national advertising in the Gazzetta dello Sport

On the sidelines of the Europa League play-offs between AC Milan and Stade Rennais this Thursday (9pm on RMC Sport 1), the Breton club gave themselves some great publicity by buying the back page of the day’s edition of the Gazzetta dello Sport.

Stade Rennais offered themselves a nice publicity stunt before facing AC Milan. This Thursday (9 pm), the Breton club travel to the historic San Siro to challenge the Lombards. On the sidelines of the meeting, Rennes bought the last page of the day’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport, one of the best-selling daily newspapers in Italy.

The historic tide is expected to encourage rains

“SRFC from the first to the last minute. Give everything”, we can read in Italian in the text. For this prestigious meeting, Julian Stephan’s players will be able to count on a historic influx of supporters. Between 8,000 and 10,000 Rennes fans are expected at the San Siro.

As a reminder, Stade Rennais is in the hands of Francois Pinault, who was ranked as the fifth richest sports owner in the world last November based on a ranking published by the OLBG site. This was based on statistics provided by Forbes and Bloomberg.

Beaten by Villarreal (3-2) on the last day of the Europa League group stage, Rennes have been forced to go through the play-offs in hopes of reaching the round of 16 of the competition. Roazhon Park will at least have the chance to experience a great European evening next Thursday with the welcome of AC Milan.
