“She almost bought it but it’s my fault I wasn’t too sure of myself, I wanted to keep it», recalls the owner who carefully preserved the traces left by the singer on his way. We get a black wallpaper installed by Rihanna that gives the entrance of the 470 square meter penthouse a nightclub atmosphere. Likewise, a black headboard left by the singer still sits in the master bedroom. It covers the entire wall, behind the bed.
Tinted windows so as not to be seen from the outside
“I feel like there’s a somewhat calmer atmosphere», Valentin declares as he enters the spacious living room, a plateau that extends over 250 square meters. The windows are tinted, with a mirror effect. “Rihanna installed a system to not be able to see the buildings in front of her, she didn’t want to be photographed. (…) You can be completely naked and no one will see you», the owner laughs. “I’ve never seen tinted windows all over the apartment, we really feel like we’re in a star apartment and we shouldn’t be seen and have our privacy everywhere so that makes sense and yes, we’re in Rihanna’s apartment.», comments Valentin.
In one of the three bedrooms, Rihanna kept her 300 to 400 pairs of shoes, “A figure that I will never reach in my entire life», quipped Valentin.
