The US The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) reaches Americans in need every month. In the current month of February, SNAP will be distributed in the state of Florida through Wednesday the 28th.
SNAP is a national project but is controlled by the states of the country, so it is subject to changes, demands and different calendars. The amount distributed in Florida is determined by the size of families beginning on the first day of February.
In households where a citizen lives, the amount to be charged is $291.00 USD, while two family members receive $535.00 USD. Families with three members can reach $766.00 USD.
Houses with four occupants are likely to charge $973.00 USD. Houses with five residents can fetch $1,155.00 USD and those with six people will have a chance to reach $1,386.00 USD.
If there are seven customers in a household, they can get $1,532.00 USD. Families that host eight people are entitled to earn a maximum of $1,750.00 USD. For each additional member of a household of eight citizens, the payment will be $291.00 USD.
People who join SNAP must have U.S. citizenship or residency, as well as have lived in the nation for five years. Program dollars are deposited into an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card to purchase food at various shopping centers.
According to the Department of Agriculture (USDA), users are authorized to purchase fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy products, bread, cereals and non-alcoholic beverages. The Department of Children and Families (DCF) sends case numbers to establish collection days for each beneficiary.
