An American Eagle plane skidded off the runway at Frederick Douglass Greater International Airport in Rochester, New York this Thursday afternoon due to extreme weather conditions, including snow and ice. There were 53 passengers on board and no one was injured in the accident.

The moment the aircraft was seen at ground level next to the runway under heavy snow was shared on social networks, while emergency services were attending to the accident that happened this Thursday afternoon. According to local media, the plane was carrying 50 passengers and three crew members.
Authorities are already investigating the cause of the accident
Although no injuries have been reported so far due to the error of an American Airlines regional airline American Eagle jet plane, New York authorities are already investigating the cause of the accident. As per initial investigation, the aircraft may have left the runway due to snow and ice which is currently being reported with intensity across the state.
