Vaccination against covid 19 can disrupt menstrual cycle

This is a Franco-British study that says this and that confirms the possibility of menstrual cycle disruption with vaccination against Covid 19. According to a study released by health authorities this Wednesday, January 24, 2024, the risk of menstrual disorders is increased. Three months after receiving the messenger RNA vaccine. Studies show a 20% increased risk of heavy bleeding that requires hospital treatment.

Women have been talking about this among themselves for years. This time, the phenomenon has been confirmed by a study. The covid 19 vaccine affects the menstrual cycle.

According to the study, one in five women, after vaccination, therefore suffers from longer and more abundant bleeding.

Initially, no investigation was planned on the incident but the numerous concerns expressed on social networks and in local doctors’ offices put the subject at the center of the CNRS scientist’s research.

In 2023, Swedish researchers used data from an electronic health registry to assess the risk of menstrual disorders and bleeding after vaccination against Covid-19 in nearly 3 million women aged 12 to 74 years. This is the largest study examining the relationship between Covid-19 vaccines and menstrual or postmenopausal bleeding.

For postmenopausal women, the risk of bleeding between 1 and 7 days after vaccination was 28% and 25% after 8 to 90 days. Women of childbearing age had a much lower risk of abnormal bleeding. Among them, the risk of bleeding was 13% or 8% for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines 1 to 7 days after the vaccine dose, and 6% and 1% after 8 to 90 days, respectively.

The survey was conducted in the United Kingdom, with 12,000 menstruating participants of all ages who answered an online questionnaire. This is a proven side effect. According to women, their periods are longer and heavier after receiving the vaccine. Based on the results of the study, these changes are temporary and benign for women. Smokers will be more affected by these cycle changes than others and those who use hormonal contraceptives are slightly less…

Most menstrual disorders were usually non-serious, short-lived and resolved spontaneously. In most cases, periods resume their normal characteristics in the next cycle.

In any case, this study opens the door to problems reported by patients. It appears that the vaccination causes inflammation of the endometrium, causing changes in the cycle. As many women have long said that…

Women who experience this type of disorder after vaccination are invited to consult their doctor. Indeed, it is important to ensure that there is no other cause at the root of these disorders: an unwanted effect of a new form of contraception, a gynecological illness or pregnancy, for example.
