Ubisoft sued to shut down fan-favorite game

Hey man, do you see what’s going on with Ubisoft right now? A mega-adored fan has announced he’s going to sue the video game giant. And you know why? Because Ubisoft just canceled one of his favorite games, and it doesn’t work!

I already told you about this sad news in December 2023, when Ubisoft completely deleted the famous game. the gang

Out of steam for good. It’s taken a few weeks for fans to digest the bullet, but clearly, some are willing to fight to assert their rights.

YouTuber Ross Scott, aka Ackersed Pharms, also wants to launch a class action lawsuit against Ubisoft. For that, the box sold the gang Promising a “perpetual license”, but in the end, players didn’t get what they were supposed to.

“I think that’s the point to make the gang It was sold with a perpetual license, not a subscription, so we were sold a good, not a service,” explains Scott. And yes, he wants to see Ubisoft held accountable and prevent other games from suffering the same fate.

It’s quite a gamble on Scott’s part, but hey, we’re waiting to see if he manages to gather enough evidence for the justice system to take his case seriously. In any case, he is determined not to give up, even when Ubisoft tried to buy him out of court with a settlement.

Personally, I fully support Scott’s approach. We don’t let publishers destroy games that players care about and spend their money on. Come on Scott, throw a serious hit at Ubisoft for a good cause!
