The Brest Commercial Court has put two companies in Morlax country into liquidation. This is SAS Les Viviers de Roscoff, a company specializing in fish trading, wholesalers and shipping of seafood products. The decision follows the placement of fishponds by ceasing activity since December.
On January 25, 2024, eleven employees of Roscoff Fishponds warned about the fact that they had not been paid since October. At the call of the local CGT union of Saint-Paul-de-Lyon, on February 6, they demonstrated again in front of the gates of their establishment in Saint-Barbe (Roscoff). Contacted by telephone the same day, Jean-Francois Jacob, manager of Viviers de Roscoff, confirmed that “the fundraising process is ongoing, that a response (was expected by the end of the week) and that by the end “they will collect their own funds) obligations.” He has apparently not managed to regularize his company’s situation, leaving eleven employees at a loss.
In Taulé, the company EI Parente Enes Valentin (no employees), a company specializing in general masonry and structural construction work, located in a place called Carambalec, was also put into compulsory liquidation on Tuesday.
