This fruit can improve your mood quickly

Food affects our physical but also mental health. Moods can really change depending on what you eat. Researchers have shed light on this. Foods that are filling AntioxidantJust like fruits and vegetables are beneficial for our brain and mental health. For example, it has been shown that eating more fruit Reduce anxiety and depression. A new study has found that kiwis, in particular, are capable of having a powerful effect on mood. If apples keep the doctor away, kiwis may well keep shrink away.

A team of New Zealand researchers followed 155 people. They divided them into three groups: the first group took vitamin C supplements, the second group a placebo, and the third group, two kiwis per day. I would like to point out that these were yellow kiwis, the sungold variety, richer in vitamin C than green kiwis. The study lasted for 8 weeks. every day, Participants were asked to indicate their mood and level of vitality.

Kiwi eaters reported being in a better mood and more energetic Just four days later. After two weeks, they felt better. In comparison, people who swallowed their vitamin C pills saw a slight improvement in mood by day 12.

How do we explain it?

Kiwi is rich in vitamin C which improves mood and energy. But they also contain other vitamins and minerals, as well as beneficial fibers for our gut flora. However, we do know that our gut microbiota participates in the regulation of our mood… this may be one explanation. It’s likely that in addition to vitamin C, other compounds found in kiwifruit help boost mood. So, if we can easily meet our needs of vitamins and other nutrients with common foods – this is the case with vitamin C – well, iIt is better to get it from your diet rather than taking a food supplement.

In short, the whole fruit is better than the tablet.

A whole fruit, such as a kiwi, offers more benefits than a vitamin C tablet.
Studies have also found that what we eat has a profound effect on our mental health. It only took four days for kiwi eaters to feel better! If you don’t like kiwi or are allergic to it, know that there are other fruits like oranges, grapefruit, strawberries etc. that are rich in vitamin C and packed with other good nutrients.

So, if your morale is low, now you know what to do.
