Dallas, Texas. – He Jesus Perez Vazquez, a 29-year-old Mexican worker, dreamed of returning to his hometown of San Luis Potosí.But an incident at work in Providence Village dashed his and his family’s hopes.
He was only 29 years old and devoted to work and construction. Last Thursday, January 25, when While working in a water tank, Jesus Perez and his partner fell into a sinkhole, trapping them on the spot.
However, they were rescued. Jesus Perez Vazquez couldn’t take it anymore and died at the hospital. While his colleague is still hospitalized recovering from a work incident.
Jesus lived in Mesquite with his wife Maria Alvarado and his younger brother Uriel Perez, who is They perished, losing what they called “the joy of their house.”
“My husband was a very happy boy, who I had many goals to achieve. One (goal) was to travel to Mexico” shared Maria Alvarado.

Maria Alvarado cannot believe that her beloved husband Jesus Perez, who spoiled her so much, is now gone. It pains her to know that Jesus will not come home every day after work.

Uriel Perez is Jesus’ younger brother and Maria, like his sister-in-law, is deeply affected by the death of a family member.

“He was like a father to me. Good people, he always knew about the family, what they were missing, always very attentive, responsible and eager to succeed,” says Uriel, “His goals were to return to our land, Mexico, San Luis Potosí.”
The Perez family has opened a Go Fund Me account to raise money for funeral expenses.
And they continue to have water problems in Providence Village
The city of Providence Village continues to have problems with its drinking water system. Jesus Perez and his partner were definitely working on a tank to fix this problem.
After this incident, the city continues to have problems with the system and has been told not to drink water from taps or faucets until repairs are completed.
Additionally, they are providing drinking water bottles, which residents can pick up by providing proof of address and identity along with address and photo.
