GTA 6, a dark opus

Since the release of the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer, analysis and commentary abound in the media. The latest intervention to date, Ned Luke, the actor who lends his voice to the character of Michael Grand Theft Auto vwas interviewed by IGN At the end of last year. He talked about this new opus and explained what he expects from Lucia and Jason’s story. For that, it seems clear that the game will be darker than the previous opus.

I’ve said this before – from an acting standpoint, not just as a protagonist, but overall, I think our game is one of the best acted games in history, if not the best. There is a lot of comedy. Comedy is hard, man. I think this one (GTA 6), as per the trailer, will be a bit heavier than ours. I think the comedy and all the weirdness will be put aside, and all those side characters. It feels heavy, I think it’s between us and GTA 4, almost. Because GTA 4 was really dark.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is definitely one of the lighter opuses in the saga and takes satire to its pinnacle. On the other hand, Ned Luke’s choice to cite GTA 4 is quite interesting. The fourth part of GTA is certainly darker and more mature than the others, both in the themes addressed, but also in the general direction of the game. GTA 6 So, like this structure, too Red Dead Redemption IIA more realistic and heavier anchor pick than most of its predecessors.

Lucia, the real protagonist

Ned Luke didn’t stop there and also mentioned the character of Lucia, who clearly plays a major role in this first trailer. For the actor, Lucia can actually play a more important role than her partner Jason.

GTA 6 will be the biggest game ever. But (Lucia) seems okay, but from the protagonist’s perspective, she seems like a real badass to me. In the last sequence where they break out, it just looks “badass”. And the cool thing is that she paved the way. She kicked the door down and Jason followed. So I don’t know if he will play the lead and he (Jason) will be with her or something else.

For now, it is true that Lucia seems to be the real protagonist of this new opus. Nothing tells us she’ll be highlighted more than Jason, but Rockstar has for the moment focused almost entirely on its charismatic heroine, a lead role rarely played by a woman in the saga so far. We obviously can’t wait to learn more about her, as well as Jason, who is still very much a mystery.
