The Monegasques accept the draw and remain at the foot of the podium

Monaco is fourth and misses a chance

ASM can temporarily climb the podium while awaiting the meeting between Brest and Nice later today. It’s a missed opportunity for Adi Hutter’s men, who therefore sit 4th in Ligue 1.

As it ended, Monaco secured a 1-1 draw

ASM thought they finished the tough part opening the scoring thanks to Ben Yedder. But two minutes later, Fofana scored against his side and Le Havre were back on level terms. Not sharp enough, Adi Hutter’s men were unable to regain the advantage and went down by two points.

Ouattara puts in a header!

Fofana’s cross was good, but Ouattara couldn’t get the header he wanted. This is captured by Desmas without problem.

Le Havre keeps Monegasque off target

It is well protected, ASM cannot contact the opposing surface.

5 minutes of added time

Monaco have the ball and press. Le Havre looking to hold on for the draw from now on.

Minamino gets a corner

It was repulsed by the Le Havre defences. Time is running out for Monaco.

Triple change for Le Havre

Grandsir, Ngoura and El Hajam replace Sabbi, Kuzyaev and Sangante for the final minutes.

In the event of a draw, Monaco would finish fourth

It would be a missed opportunity to be on the podium, at least temporarily.

Minamino is looking for Ben Yedder!

The Monegasque captain is not far from being able to push the ball into the back of the goal but Sangante intervenes at the last moment and clears the corner.

Ben Yedder’s head!

He was on target, to a cross from Vandersen, but Desmas is alert and puts down well. Still 1-1, ten minutes to go.

Casimir Center

Le Havre calls for a Monegasque hand, but the referee says nothing.

Foul by Minamino in midfield

Not sure if the Japanese have touched any balls yet.

Ben Yedder collapses in the area… simulation

He went past the Le Havre defenders but fell without making any contact with Lloris. Yellow card given by the referee, Ben Yedder does not contest.

Magasa fouls

A little heat because he already has a yellow card. But it is because of his mistake that he cuts down his opponent, it is involuntary. No other box.

Minamino comes into play in place of Aklioche

It’s crazy. He played in Qatar during Japan-Iran yesterday, coming on to play 25 minutes. He then went to Monaco and has been returning since last 20 minutes today. Two matches in two days, on two continents, the frustration of the Japanese elimination, the physical exhaustion, the travel.

Nego replaces Ndiaye

Another change for HAC.

5 goals in his last 4 games for Ben Yedder

The Monegasque captain is in good shape, but he will now have to do a little more to get ahead on the scoreboard.

Havreise equivalent on the right!

Monaco joins the score already! On an indirect free kick, Fofana misses the intervention of his leg and deceives his own goalkeeper. Big Monaco gift, 1-1 now. Le Havre is back in the game.

Ben Yedder finally opens the scoring!

Monaco finds an opening! On a ball recovered by Golovin, ASM quickly heads towards the goal. The Russian finds Aklioche, who replaces his captain with a touch. Wissam Ben Yedder then finished with a foot in front of Desmas. 1-0 for Monaco.

Andre Ayew comes into play!

Replaces Ghanaian striker Antoine Joujou. Author of last week’s double against Lorient, he could be the one who made the difference.

Ben Yedder again

He looks back for a teammate but is stopped by the Le Havre defence.

Ben Yedder’s dive in this area

He looked for a teammate at the far post, but it was inaccurate and went wide of the goal.

Ben Segir was replaced by Daita

First change of the match, it’s for Monaco. It was Ben Seghir’s first start in Ligue 1 this season, his first appearance since October.

Minamino is warming up

While the Japanese were knocked out of the Asian Cup yesterday against Iran in which he played a part. He yawns at the edge of the field. It seems irresponsible to play him today, when he has just traveled from Qatar and may not be mentally and physically fit.

A toy in a small outdoor net!

From a Le Havre corner, the ball reaches Jujou at the far post. The attacker controls and strikes but it is in the outside trap.

Kehr’s recovery!

What a reflection from Desmus! On a ball lying around in the area, Kehr threw himself to regain his right foot, but the Le Havre goalkeeper made the right reflex and pushed back as needed.

Le Havre centers follow each other

No one gets it at the moment, but the Monegasque defense is more permissive.

Good center of Casimir

After being dispossessed by Kehrer, Monaco went on the attack again and Ben Yedder scored a free kick in the center circle.

Immediately a Monegasque corner

Sangante deflects Ben Yedder’s cross badly.

It’s back to Monaco

ASM starts the second half, no change for the moment.

1 to 6 shots for Monaco

ASM created more chances in the first half. But the Monegasques had only one shot on target. We have to be more fair in the second half.

It is the recess of Louis II

There is no extra time, the referee sends everyone back to the locker room. 0-0, Monaco dominate but can’t find an opening. Le Havre defend well but are not very dangerous at the moment.

Ben Yedder on the surface!

This time the defense of Le Havre was taken! But Ben Yedder, spotted in an open area, had no time to follow up with a strike, Desmas coming out too quickly. Le Havre is doing well.

Ben Segir had passed!

Great Monegasque action, Ben Segir was about to offer himself a face-off after a great body feint but was cut out by the defender. The referee signals a free kick, eventually disallowed as Ben Yedder was offside when passing to Ben Seghir.

The corner was in!

What a poor effort from Le Havre! The corner was about to go in at the near post, but Kohn reacted well and boxed the ball before it crossed the line. Not an easy intervention, Monaco is doing well.

First corner for Le Havre

Depicting the match’s physiognomy has changed a bit. Le Havre hasn’t managed to be dangerous yet, but at least Luca Elsner’s players are suffering less.

Le Havre finally had time to take possession

Monaco have clearly lost momentum, though it’s still 0-0.

First warning for Magasa

The Monegasque defender caught Joujou, a gross foul and a logical yellow card.

Monaco comes to the rhythm of the Senators

The ASM side has less intensity and less technical precision than at the start of the match.

Golovin finds Aklioche

The Russian had a good first period, even if the Le Havre defense interfered on this occasion. It is often through him or Ben Yedder that inconsistencies come and the Monegasque’s possession allows him to project himself and play close to goal, while aligned with Fofana in the middle.

Rescue the Ute!

Golovin’s header went straight to Aklioche in the open area. Intervention was necessary.

Monegasque counter…

Stopped offside by Ben Yedder, whose cross towards Ben Seghir was pushed back by Lloris anyway.

Le Havre tried to get some foot on the ball

But this is not easy given the technical quality of Monegasque.

Ben Yedder up!

That’s three chances in just one minute. The Monegasque captain has his head up, but it’s getting close for ASM.

BUMPS ON AKLIOUCHHE DESMAS!

It was a goal ball! On a deflected pass from Wenderson, the ball reaches Aklioche, who is brilliantly placed in the area. But the Monegasque striker, from the left, comes up against Desmas.

Le Havre doesn’t touch the ball

ASM monopolizes possession and Le Havre, apart from some quick moves, can’t put anything together at the moment.

Aklioche from the left!

He was served well by Ben Yedder, but it was blocked. Corner for Monaco, which is close to Desmas’ goal.

WANDERSON FOR BEN SEGIR!

A head or face delivery was clever, but Ben Seghir then missed his shot. Ben Segir and Aklioche are making some technical mistakes at the moment.

Good Joujou center

Great release from Kohn to catch the ball, it wasn’t an easy intervention.

Ben Yedder in a tight corner!

Desmas puts in a corner, but the assistant referee raises the flag, the Monegasque captain was slightly offside.

A major phase of the Monegasque occupation

For the moment it doesn’t result in a strike, but ASM tries to regain control of the game.

Joujou Strike!

It’s the first of the match! Le Havre projects quickly, the HAC attacker then takes the ball behind the defense and strikes from the left at the entrance to the area without finding the target.

It is closed to Louis II Stadium

Kick-off is given by Le Havre.

A round of applause in memory of Jean Petit

With players from both teams around the center circle.

Kick-off imminent

An opportunity to recall compositions.

Monaco: Kohn – Kehrer, Magasa, Salisu – Vandersen, Fofana, Golovin, Jacobs – Aklioche, Ben Segir, Ben Yedder.

Le Havre: Desmas – Sanganté, Youté, Lloris, Opéri – Kouzaïev, Ndiaye, Kechta – Sabbi, Casimir, Joujou.

Le Havre can put itself behind OM and Rennes

After Strasbourg’s defeat against PSG on Friday, Le Havre can move up a place in the standings if they win today. They will then be 10th on the heels of Rennes and OM, who play OL this evening.

A special jersey in tribute to Jean Petit

Monaco’s players will wear jerseys named Petit in tribute to the former Monaco player who died on January 23. In the 8th minute there will also be a round of applause to celebrate the former ASM number 8.

Ben Yedder will play his 500th club match

A symbolic milestone. This will be his 188th match with Monaco after 138 with Sevilla and 174 with Toulouse.

Minamino is already on the Monaco bench

Knocked out of the Asian Cup with Japan yesterday, during the match against Iran where he played 23 minutes, Taki Minamino is already back in Monaco and also on the bench this afternoon. Even today it would be surprising to see him on the pitch.

In the HAC eleven, Andre Ayu came on the bench

Desmas – Sanganté, Youté, Lloris, Opéri – Kouzaïev, Ndiaye, Kechta – Sabbi, Casimir, Joujou.

substitute: Gorjelin, El Hajam, Salmier, Nego, Confais, Bentoumi, Ngoura, Ayu, Grandsir

Monegasque line-up, Hutter suits the absentee

The Monegasque coach is without two players, Balogun and Embolo, injured, and Camara and Singo, at CAN, after the red cards received by Zakaria and Maripan against OM last week.

Formation of Monaco: Kohn – Kehrer, Magasa, Salisu – Vandersen, Fofana, Golovin, Jacobs – Aklioche, Ben Segir, Ben Yedder.

substitute: Majeki, Ouattara, Diop, Coulibaly, Valmey, Minamino, Diatta, Pletret, Michal.

Good morning everyone and welcome!

Monaco have a chance to put pressure on Brest and Nice, who face each other this Sunday (5:05 pm), and temporarily occupy third place on the podium. For this, Adi Hutter’s men have to win against Le Havre at Louis-II, while they have drawn (against OM, 2-2) and lost (against Reims, 1-3) in the championship.
