The latest LEGO Fortnite update includes everything

The latest LEGO Fortnite update was just released and brought with it tons of new features, skins, and much-needed improvements.

Epic Games regularly releases updates for Fortnite, some with minor changes and others that introduce entirely new game modes. V28.10, released on January 23, falls somewhere in the middle, bringing new features and skins that are already appreciated. players

Introducing launch pads

Most notably, launch pads are a fun new feature that has just been added to the game. Players can use this new toy to get somewhere faster. Build a launch pad on the ground, jump onto it, then deploy the glider to take flight. If you haven’t already, you can craft a glider using a level 3 crafting bench. Launch pads can also be attached to the dynamic foundation “for some extra fun,” according to the LEGO Fortnite team.

Fresh skins from Star Wars, Marvel and YouTubers everywhere

Other Fortnite outfits have now been redesigned in LEGO style, including many familiar faces from Star Wars and Marvel. Yesterday it was revealed that three YouTubers will also be getting their own LEGO skins. Here is a summary of the newcomers:

  • Jack Skellington
  • Loki Rundesson
  • The Scarlet Witch
  • Spider Man
  • Star Lord Outfit
  • Thanos
  • Wolverine
  • Ali A
  • Chika
  • Movement

If you already own these outfits in Fortnite, their LEGO styles will automatically appear in your locker and you won’t need to buy them again.

Other Fortnite outfits are getting a more detailed LEGO style, with changes along the way. Here are the outfits that received the updated Lego style with v28.10:

  • Cosmic infinity
  • a crusher
  • Ex
  • FFC candle
  • Salty
  • The secret of love
  • Scully
  • Snowfoot
  • Stoneheart

You’ll know if any of your outfits in the future will have a more detailed LEGO style if you have a hammer and wrench icon in your locker.

Express yourself

Updates and bug fixes galore

Epic Games has also released several new features and small tweaks to make building in LEGO Fortnite easier. Here’s a brief summary of what’s new.

Placing a building will now remove any small bushes, rocks or plants in the way. Bushranger, Rustler and Tomatohead can now appear as potential villagers to join your adventure. Chest rewards have been improved with better loot, especially those obtained from fighting enemies and solving puzzles.

You can now stop a build in progress. This will discard any pre-placed parts and remove the blue parts preview so you can continue customizing your composition. Hermit crabs are now attacking your villagers and they are fighting back.
This is now more apparent when using Snap mode, which adds more snap points to P.arts buildings so they continue more easily. You can now get rid of any unwanted items by throwing them into the campfire
Added a legend to the map to show player spawn and backpack locations.

There are really too many other gameplay fixes to mention, but you can find the full list on Epic Games’ LEGO Fortnite blog. The fix covers a lot of ground, from eating while moving to now automatically picking up tools and overloading your inventory with unnecessary items.
