Stop buying an iPad Air, iPad Pro or MacBook Air

Apple is gearing up to launch a new generation of MacBooks and iPads this spring. The company should unveil its new products in a few weeks.

The beginning of the year seems to be the meeting place for the MacBook at Apple. In 2023, the firm launched its MacBook Pro M2 Pro and M2 Max in the market in January. It was followed a few months later by the M3 Pro and M3 Max generation. Now it’s the new range of MacBooks at more accessible prices that we’ve been waiting for.

Towards a launch in March

The reporter suggests that production is well underway for a planned commercial launch in late March. In the program:

• Apple MacBook Air M3 13 and 15 inches
• The new iPad Air and the larger screen iPad Air
• The new generation of iPad Pro

So it’s quite a busy schedule that Apple is planning for its spring event. For this, the accessories have to change with the new Magic Keyboard and the new Apple Pencil.

Don’t expect any big news for the MacBook Air. The design of the laptop PC has been improved for the M2 generation and should therefore be maintained for a few generations. The move to the M3 chip should provide similar autonomy, especially graphics performance, and better levels of performance, especially with the advent of AV1 hardware decoding.

According to rumors, it will be the iPad Air and iPad Pro in particular that should be the stars of spring. The former will have rights to the XXL version for the first time. For the iPad Pro, we are talking about a very significant transition to OLED technology, mainly for the display. It remains to be seen what the new price list proposed by Apple will be. Navigating the iPad range isn’t always easy.

Apple should therefore launch a new series of machines in less than two weeks. Let’s be clear, this rumor is coming from a serious source who now advises us against buying the MacBook Air, iPad Air or iPad Pro in their current form. Obviously, if you get a great deal, go for it, but keep in mind that a new, more successful family is coming in the coming weeks.
