When we look at the most played games of the moment, Roblox is often in the top 5 along with Fortnite, Call of Duty and others like GTA. And the game event now moves forward with an assistant powered by artificial intelligence that makes it easy to create.
Will AI Disrupt Creation in Roblox?
Will the future of creation know how to talk to an AI that will do everything for us? That’s what we can ask ourselves when we look at Roblox’s latest creation for their platform.
Concretely, Roblox has unveiled a chatbot that promises to eliminate all the code needed to create a world, a huge savings in time and expertise when you want to work on this type of project. Instead of using a relatively cumbersome interface and dragging out a text editor, you just have to explain to the AI-powered chatbot what you want, and it does it for you.
As shown in the video, this Roblox assistant allows, for example, setting spawn points, changing the appearance of the world, moving objects and more. It is also capable of extracting elements from the Market or from your Visual Elements library if you already have the appropriate elements.
First unveiled last year, this AI-enhanced “Roblox Assistant” was made available to developers in early December, but has not yet been widely used. Besides, Roblox also teased other AI-based updates last year. One of them will let you create avatars from images and text and is due in 2024.
Released in 2006, Roblox has managed to create a large share of the pie with a platform game concept that is especially appreciated by the youth. It is estimated that over 200 million (!) players join Roblox every month.
