If you enjoy playing Minecraft to create interesting and imaginative worlds, the recently announced Quick Play feature will make it even easier to return to your most recent worlds with just one click. The Quick Play feature is now available for Java Edition and Bedrock Edition of Minecraft.
According to the official Minecraft blog, users will be able to skip all the previously required screens and menus and go straight to their most recently played world. In the Minecraft Launcher interface, you’ll see a quick play bar, which will show the worlds you’ve played recently. Now you have to click on it to return to the recent world.
However, the Quick Play bar has a limited number of slots to accommodate the worlds you’ve played recently. “The Quick Play bar has a total of five slots, so once they’re all filled, playing the sixth world will result in the oldest world being removed from the list bar.” Minecraft explained. Luckily, you can pin your worlds to make sure they appear at the top of the list. That way you never lose sight of them.
You will not need to enable the Quick Play feature, as it is enabled by default. For those who previously disabled it and now want to re-enable it, you can go here settings> Play fast Then click on the box at the bottom of the window under the “Quick Reading” heading. However, before following these simple steps, make sure you are using at least Minecraft: Java Edition version 1.20 and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition version 1.20.60, as any version lower than this is not eligible.
