Pokemon Go players are growing increasingly frustrated with the upcoming Amovanus Elite raid schedule, with some calling it “the stupidest idea ever” and calling for changes in the future.
The month of love is here, and with it comes the classic love Pokemon, Amovanus. However, instead of being able to obtain it through Pokemon Go research tasks, you have to defeat it in a difficult Elite Raid. While the raids themselves are difficult enough, players will also have to cut back on the time limit, as Amovenus will only be available in raids for one day.

With this in mind, Pokemon Go players are now criticizing Niantic for the timing of the Elite Raid, with many pointing out that they won’t be able to participate in the event and will miss out on Pokemon altogether.
Sharing their frustration on Reddit, a user attached an image of an upcoming Elite raid, which shows that Amovénus is available in raids between 12:00 PM and 6:30 PM on February 14.
“Come on Niantic, I can’t participate in this, I’ll work because I have a job like most people” The Pokemon Go player added, questioning why schedules end when most work is done, especially since it’s a weekday.

There are many events during the week when many players are at work, but many fans do not find this problematic, as they can remotely enter raids or catch Pokémon from their workplace.

But, these Elite raids must be done in person, which eliminates many fans who can’t make it to the raid on their lunch break or after work.
“Timed raids like this are the worst ideas they’ve ever had” A Pokemon Go player commented and said that this is the idea “So totally impractical and unnecessarily restrictive. It doesn’t benefit the players in any way. »

For many, raids are an exciting aspect of the game and allow for Pokemon battles just like in the main games. However, the timing of this feature enforces a sense of urgency and if your schedule doesn’t match the event, you’ll miss out entirely.
One player revealed an idea for how Niantic could change the format of these timed challenges: “Niantic really needs to listen and create events that last 1 week but you choose a day and/or time slot. »
