The Mexican Consulate in Havana has announced a special ID Day for Saturday, January 13, with the aim of allowing citizens to process their voting credentials in time for the 2024 elections.
In addition to identification, passport, birth registration and consular security procedures will also be available. The initiative is part of the consulate’s efforts to facilitate citizens’ participation in the electoral process and ensure they have access to the consular services they need.

On Saturday, January 13, the Mexican Consulate in Havana will host a special ID Day so you can process your voting ID in time to participate in the 2024 elections.

To process your voting credentials, it is necessary to attend your nearest embassy or consulate without an appointment with the following documents:
- A document that proves Mexican nationality, such as a birth certificate or passport.

- Proof of address, such as electricity, water, telephone bill or lease agreement.
The deadline to register and choose one of the three methods available to cast your vote in the 2024 election is February 20.
