“Not recommended for the faint of heart”, the new game mode on The Last of Us Part 2 should be very stressful for players

Not long ago, the Naughty Dog teams delighted their fans with the announcement of a remaster for The Last of Us Part II. This is not a simple HD project of his second opus, but a real (re)discovery of Eli’s adventures. This new version will include several new features including a completely new game mode: No Return! But be careful, this looks absolutely terrifying, So much so that the game developers themselves wanted to warn sensitive souls.

In No Return, the survivors will have to face infected people such as famous clickers or scavengers. The terrifying Rat King will also be there to shock the survivors. The waves of enemies will become more and more intense

Pushes players to their limits.

On Social Network X (formerly Twitter), Dale Walker, one of the developers of the remaster, announced a very stressful mode. He writes that it is not reserved for fainting of the heart, and that Adventurers of sans retort will be pressed for several minutes!

So we suspect that infected waves will be particularly aggressive, and users will have to be brave enough to fight them.

Ten playable characters and maps galore

Less than ten characters will not be playable in sans retort! All will have different skills, which players will have to learn to master throughout their game. Among these ten characters, we find the famous protagonists of the first opus, Ellie, Joel and Tommy. TLOU 2 characters will also be Abby, Jessie, Lev, Yara, Mel and Manny.

As for the maps, we don’t know their number yet, but we do know that they will mainly include key locations from the second part of the license. In the mod trailer, we also see a hardware store, forest, state street, and a hospital. One thing is for sure, we can’t wait to play this new mode which promises to be full of thrills.
