snapshot 24w06a For versions Minecraft 1.20.5 and 1.21 Now available in your launcher. This snapshot brings improvements to tamed wolves, the introduction of a new item released by Breeze as an experimental feature in 1.21, as well as various technical additions.
Additions and Changes 1.20.5
- Final adjustments for Armadillo:
- They no longer panic when wounded, but instead curl up and hide their heads and feet.
- The armadillo takes a look to see if the “coach is clear” before rolling out.
- Added new animations and sounds for winding and unrolling and animation when armadillo peeks
- Changes have been made regarding domesticated wolves:
- They now have 40 life points (20 hearts) instead of 20 life points (10 hearts).
- They can no longer absorb half the damage from most environmental sources, as was previously the case
- In most cases this change won’t make a difference to the increased health, but they can now deal more damage from players and arrows.
- Feeding a pet wolf now heals it twice.
- Funnels will no longer attempt to pick up items if there is a block above them.
- This increases funnel related performance, but don’t panic, this doesn’t concern blocks that aren’t perfect (like slabs and soul sand).
- Added new option to select Japanese variant for certain CJK characters
- The replacement glyphs come from the Japanese version of the Unifont font
- The new option is included in the new “Font Settings” menu, which can be accessed from the “Language” menu.
- The default value for this option depends on the system language setting
- “Unicode Font” button has been moved to “Font Settings”.
Practical Features 1.21:
- Attack of the Breeze, The wind load (wind charge) is now available as an object.
- Wind charges between 4 and 6 wind when killed.
- Wind charges fired by the player deal 10% more knockback than Breeze, but the area of effect is much smaller.
- Like Breeze projectiles, they also deal damage if they hit an entity directly and activate certain objects (such as buttons, levers, doors, or trapdoors).
- Players who throw themselves with a wind charge only accumulate fall damage below the Y level where they hit the wind gust.
- Wind Charge has a 1/2 second cooldown between each use.
- Like fire, it can also be drawn by a distributor.
- Changed the design above the safe to better distinguish it from the trial generator.
Technical Additions and Changes:
- The data pack version is now 31.
- The effect amplifier is again limited between 0 and 255.
- At levels above 127 the old behavior of effects such as improved jumping, levitation and mining fatigue has been replaced with new features.

- The effect amplifier is again limited between 0 and 255.

- Each glyph provider can now be enabled or disabled based on a number of variations.
- Available variations are currently hardcoded and controlled via the Font Options menu.

- The keys for these objects are different names (eg uniform).

- MC-72151 – Snow Golem’s snowballs damage wolves instead of pushing them away.
- MC-193202 – Tame wolf health resets when NBT data is loaded (eg reconnect).
- MC-259142 – A funnel with a downward barrel at the top selects items.
- MC-261846 – Japanese language uses Chinese font.
- MC-264684 – Macros that are too long fail silently.
- MC-267512 – Invulnerable ghosts can be killed with reflected fireballs.
- MC-267917 – Baby armadillos don’t make noises when eating spider eyes.
- MC-267940 – Armadillo scale drop delay not preserved in data.
- MC-268065 – Non-AI armadillos turn after being attacked.
- MC-268091 – “Shuniji”, “Dragon Fish” and “Axolotl” no longer play underwater.
- MC-268096 – Singleplayer client ignores synced biome beacons.
- MC-268179 – Horse and wolf armor disappear when right-clicking in air.
- MC-268189 – “block.vault.fall” uses placeholder sound.

- Your launch Minecraft Launcher And click in the top tab settings. (see picture)
- Then check the box snapshot. This will appear directly as a new profile. (see picture)
- Launch a snapshot profile and enjoy the latest news. (see picture)
- create new world and click on the button experiments (experiments). (see picture)
- Then press Activate the available feature(s). finish (done). (see picture)
- Launch the world and enjoy the experimental features.
