One of the most iconic Fortnite pieces will be one of the largest LEGO Fortnite sets with a staggering number of minifigures.
Instagram user exabrickslegogo_ reports that the rumored October 1 LEGO Fortnite set wave will feature a Battle Bus model. The Battle Bus is a classic part of Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode and transports players to islands where they can battle.
Over the years, it has had many variations and appears only in Battle Royale mode. The 77073 Battle Bus is rumored to cost $79.99 / €79.99 with 954 pieces, as previously reported. The biggest news of this report is that it will have 10 figures.
For a licensed LEGO set priced at $79.99, that’s a significant number of minifigures compared to other licensed themes. In comparison, the 76281 X-Men X-Jet has four figures for $84.99 and a total of 359 pieces. It’s also worth noting that many Fortnite characters will need new physical items, as they appear digitally in LEGO Fortnite mode.
Given the popularity of Fortnite, there are tons of custom LEGO Fortnite battle bus models online, including a particularly cool version of CM4Sci’s flying vehicle. While this is not official, it gives an idea of what to expect with a similar coin count.
A battle bus in Fortnite can accommodate up to 100 players and the bus driver. It seems unlikely that the rumored LEGO set will have that much space, but reported information suggests that it could be a substantial licensed model.
This is one of the LEGO Fortnite sets that have been talked about later this year, although none of them have been officially confirmed and any unannounced details should be taken with a grain of salt. LEGO Fortnite is now available to play in Fortnite and its only physical appearances so far have been the Loot Llama promotional model and some minifigure factory designs.
