Ever since the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 was released, the anticipation surrounding the game has been at its height. Fans are looking for clues to the upcoming game developed by Vice City-based Rockstar, and they’re showing their impatience.
The trailer recreated numerous real-life incidents in Miami, Florida, involving a convicted felon who resembled the real-life Joker, Lawrence Sullivan. Since this revelation, Sullivan has threatened to sue Rockstar Games for the use of his likeness in GTA 6, claiming that the company will not “pay” him for the rights.
Now, after waiting over a month for Rockstar’s response, Florida Joker says he deserves the credit and they should allow him to voice the character in GTA 6. After five failed attempts, in his latest video, Sullivan makes a new request to Rockstar. And take two interactive, saying: “I don’t want to sue you. Let me voice the character, give me more story in the game.”
While fans and existing Rockstar Games stakeholders criticized Sullivan’s ridiculous threats, many users voiced their opinions on his latest request. One user mentioned, “It would be hilarious if there was some weird viral marketing campaign between this guy and Rockstar leading up to the game’s release.” Others added, “Someone should shut it down.
