Now that E3 is definitely dead and buried, the big players in the video game industry are taking the lead and reaching out directly to players. This year, it’s Xbox that gets the ball rolling and will be meeting us soon to talk about their future titles.
Xbox announces its biggest conference of the year
This was a big announcement last year. Last December, the ESA (a non-profit trade association that represents the interests of the gaming industry in the United States) shared some sad news: E3 has definitely given up the ghost. After many years of hardships, faced with a health crisis and the emergence of competitive events, the biggest video game show disappeared, much to the disappointment of gamers and the press around the world, who eagerly awaited the event every year.
That being said, giants of the video game industry have been organizing their own conferences for several years now. Primarily virtual events that take place throughout the year, but especially during the month of June. And in 2024, Xbox has already confirmed the first meeting for this period with the Xbox Showcase.

The Xbox release is not to be missed

Xbox certainly has some surprises for us in June, but here we mainly talk about its main games expected for the year: approved‘, Obsidian’s new Skyrim-style RPG, Indiana Jones and the Ancient CircleAssigned to MachineGames and which we were able to discover recently with the first gameplay sequence, then Ara: History Untold, a strategy game that offers to relive great moments of history by playing great leaders, and finally Towerborne, a game described as an action-RPG playable in co-op.
