A recent GTA 6 leak has revealed the game’s control layout, quickly getting fans excited because of the new features coming soon.
It’s been over ten years since the last Grand Theft Auto game launched, and even though the first GTA 6 trailer was released, the wait to get your hands on the game is still long.
While gameplay leaks in 2022 revealed quite a bit about the game before GTA 6 was officially announced, a new leak recently revealed the game’s controls, allowing future players to understand exactly what each one does. The key will be used when announcing new features.

As this image shows, GTA 6 has several new options for on-foot gameplay that completely separates it from GTA 5.
While pressing L3 once again lets you crouch, you can now hold L3 to crouch. This should come in handy during intense shootouts, hiding from the police and even during undercover missions.
Staying on the analog sticks, R3 will now allow you to change the hand holding the weapon. We think this feature may be related to targeting while driving.

Triangle/Y, meanwhile, will be used to select items, so expect a lot more gameplay mechanics for non-weapon items in the next GTA experience.
Notably missing from this leak is no feature for the R1/RB. In GTA 5, this button allowed players to quickly take cover, but it looks like GTA 6 will use an automatic cover system.

As soon as the leak came out, fans showed their excitement, with many appreciating that Rockstar seems to be adding some highly requested features.
“Caught to sleep?! Hell yeah baby!“, exclaimed One of them.
“Crawling (getting down on your stomach) is more useful than switching arms for a weapon… and the d-pad buttons that aren’t labeled yet should be for leaning left and right behind a corner.“, adds other.
Of course, this could all change during the end of the game’s development, but at least now we have a small idea of how the gameplay will be improved in GTA 6.
